04.08.2008.- Ministry of Justice of B&H is preparing the State Law on Obligatory Relations. It is about the system law which in the unique way regulates the issue of contracts, causing of damage, acquiring without legal base, management without order, unilateral statement of will and other obligatory relations in B&H based on legally determined way.

The Law is divided into General Part that contains basic principles, the action of obligations, termination of obligations, change of creditor or debtor and Second Part that regulates contractual obligatory relations (named contracts). Thus the Law regulates a Contract on Sale, Contract on Exchange, Contract on Loan, Contract on Rent, etc. Actually the Law regulates over forty named contracts. 

Adoption of the Law on Obligatory Relations of B&H is the condition which Bosnia and Herzegovina undertook by initialling the Stabilization and Assotiation Agreement with EU.
